The linking of these three adjacent areas offers courses that are readily accessible from Kincraig village. Dunachton Wood is a pleasant birch forest connected by a bridge over the railway to a well-contoured and runnable open area beside Loch Insh. There is a good mix of terrain on the north side of Kincraig, varying from fast mature Scots pine in the south to slightly rougher plantation in the north.
We have use of Kincraig Community Hall as a venue for Registration/Download, and are hoping to offer hot drinks, soup and home-baking at a modest cost. An indoor venue also offers the benefits of accessible toilets, a warm, dry changing area and the opportunity for a post-run social, so we hope that all competitors will appreciate that in order to cover the additional cost of the indoor venue hire we have increased the entry fee by £1/50p per adult/junior
