Festive Forest Challenge

Run, walk, Nordic Walk 10km, half marathon or 20 miles through the Kings Forest, just 4 miles outside Bury St Edmunds. It is easily accessible from East Anglia, London & the East Midlands. Traffic free well signed routes through the forest, great day out assured. As well as providing a great day out the day also generates much needed funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Date: Saturday 12th December 2020
Start Time: 9am Half-Marathon / 20 Miles, 9.30am 10km
Entry Limits: 500
Refunds: no refunds will be given on this challenge
Start/Finish: West Stow Country Park, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 6HG
Facilities: Toilets at the start/finish, but no changing facilities
Distance: Choice of distances 10km, Half Marathon or 20 miles
Race number: Collected on-the-day
Finish: All finishers will be awarded a bespoke medal
Cut off: Everyone to finish by 3:15pm
Refreshments: Drinks and refreshments available.
Festive jumpers: Encouraged (spot prizes)!
First Aid: First Aiders will be present at the start/finish and along the course. If you develop medical problems please alert the nearest marshal and prompt assistance will be provided.
This event has been authorised by the Forestry England.
