The Ben Cruachan Inn Hill Climb on the 9th May will be run as a staggered start time trial with chip timing by Sident. The meet will be at Ben Cruachan Inn from where you can ride to the start of the climb near St Conans Church. The route uses the access road to the Cruachan Dam which climbs 300m over 2.7 miles
The Oban Sportive the next day 10th May includes 87 mile and 54 mile road courses.
The 56 mile course is quoted as one of the hardest Sportive courses around with repetitive short steep climbs and is on mostly quiet single track roads in the heart of Argyll.
The 87 mile long course is around Scotland's longest Loch, Loch Awe and passes under the shadow of Ben Cruchan, the "Hollow Mountain". Both are A Wild Argyll Challenge!
Graeme Obree - Scotland's cycling legend will be the figurehead for Oban Sportive 2020. He'll be taking part in the Ben Cruachan Inn Hill Climb and the Sportive and will be sharing his exploits in a talk in Oban Distillery bar on the Saturday evening.
