Take a break in the beautiful Lake District where you can get a taste for some beautiful Trail Running. A no pressure atmosphere where you can meet like minded people. You will have a choice of distance between 10-25km, with the option on the day to return to the Hostel where you can relax for the afternoon, or continue with a run leader through some of the most scenic parts of the UK.

If you are already a runner but would like to get off the road and try out the trails, this is for you. Or maybe you already enjoy trail running but would like a guided run where you can meet new people in a relaxed environment.

Light Breakfast 7.30-8.30am

9.30am We will head out on the Ullswater Way. An undulating footpath following the lake along to Martindale. At around 10k we will be met by a driver with refreshments. You will be able to recharge before setting off again for another 10k. Anyone who feels that the first 10k is enough will have the option to be driven back to Pooley Bridge. Those who continue will run to Glenridding where we will then get the Steamer boat across Ullswater to Pooley bridge. A perfect way to end a day of trail running. A chance to ask any questions you have, we can take a look at examples of kit back at the hotel.
