A well established sportive, with routes designed by fellow cyclists for your enjoyment, on roads with very little traffic compared to most of the UK. There is a choice of the Yellow route of 70km (43 miles), the Blue route of 123km (76 miles) or the Red route of 162km (100 miles). A section of the Red route was used for the 2019 Tour of Britain.
The event starts and finishes at Dumfries Rugby Club with free parking, changing rooms and showers post event. Feeding stations will be available on all three routes and food/drink is provided at the finish. The event is suitable for all with a reasonable level of fitness, depending on the route entered. Electrically assisted bikes may be used but must be declared when entering. Timed certificate presented to all finishers.
This event is organised by experienced volunteers from Dumfries Devorgilla Rotary Club and Dalbeattie Community Initiative.
