From the historic church of Holdgate in the heart of the Corvedale Valley - the 22 and 10 mile routes climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire. After a visit to Clee St Margaret Village Hall for much needed refreshments both routes return via the Jack Mytton Way to Tugford, the 10 route returns to Holdgate and the long route climbs Wenlock Edge for superb views out to mid Wales

A new route for 2020 is the 14 mile route that starts in Holdgate, makes its way to Tugford and joins the long route to visit Broncroft Castle, Wenlock Edge and the second checkpoint in Eaton Church (famed for its Scone station and seventeenth century pulpit)

Start 8:00 - 9:00 (22 mile route) and 9:00 - 10:00 (14 and 10 mile routes)

Start and Finish SO56189

Entry fee includes fantastic checkpoints, two on the long route, one on the short routes, with hot dogs and drinks to welcome you home.

The members of the churches have been a great support to the Marches group by running checkpoints and baking legendary cakes, so we are saying thank you by holding this event to support them.
