the Organiser,

The 2018 - 2019 night orienteering season is here!

Season 4 will feature 4 new NNC venues, with a focus on technical challenge.

The MOR events include a Short course, though this is not included in the series.

Huge thanks to INVOC, Moravian and BASOC orienteering clubs who have all agreed to host 2 events each. NNC is 100% powered by local orienteering volunteers - thanks to everyone who makes it possible!

Terrain Description

The event is at the less-frequently-used (for orienteering) northern end of the forest, which contains the most physically and technically challenging terrain: the biggest and steepest dunes are in the coastal strip while further inland there are areas of lower visibility forest containing smaller dunes and knolls.

Please be aware there may be some debris from old fires remaining in some of the small depressions near the beach area, this could include wire, nails etc.
