Start Times

• 50K Walk or Run Event -     6am-8am
• 22K Walk or Run Event -     8am-9.30am

 Cut off times for the 50K

• Kettlewell      1.00pm
• Buckden        3.30pm
• Oughterside  6.00pm
• Ribblehead   9.00pm

 Organisers reserve the right to alter the cut off times dependent on weather conditions.

 50K Restrictions

•  Minimum Age 18
•  Experience - you must have completed at least 1 long distance walk / run to at least marathon distance in the last 3 years.

22K Restrictions 

• Minimum Age 12
• Under 16  - Free Entry
• Participants Under 16 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult

 

Race numbers will be collected from HQ watch out for further updates.

There will be Emergency shuttle buses to take participants back to the finish.

There will be a bag drop tent for the two finishes for anybody wishing to ship dry clothes to their respective finishes..labels will be provided.

A Comprehensive Kit List will be provided.
The weather in the Yorkshire Dales can be very changeable. We will be advising FULL BODY COVER
You MUST also carry a mobile phone Fully Charged with the Event Co-Ordinators Mobile number…this will be provided on your Walk/Run  issued number.

We are currently confirming camping facilities at nearby campsites. Details will be updated.

The Dales Way is a very well marked and sign posted route but it is advisable to recce yourself and not to rely on following other participants.
