The Haytor Heller is now in it's 33rd year.  The course is approximately 6 miles and has several steep ascents and descents and is generally run across rugged, open moorland, apart from two sections that take you through woodland; firstly below Hound Tor and secondly below Haytor.  There is also a stream crossing.

The course is completely off-road. Please adhere to the Country Code and note that dogs will not be allowed to accompany runners, nor likewise, will any following cyclists.  Water is available at Hound Tor (approximately 4 miles in) and at the finish.  There is a cut-off time of one hour at Hound Tor.  Please note that entrants are not permitted to wear headphones during the race; if found to be wearing them, you will be disqualified.

We're very pleased to once again offer camping; this year you can camp on the Friday night as well as the Saturday night and we'll have showers for you to use.  Just 0.6 of a mile from our Race HQ is 'Irish Acres', a beautiful spot in the shadow of Haytor Rock.  At just £15 per tent/motorhome per night, you won't find a cheaper place to pitch up!  Bring your own beers and join us around the camp fire until midnight.  On Sunday morning we'll cook you some breakfast at a very reasonable price (not available on Saturday morning).  Further details will be in the Race Information leaflet that we'll send to you.  If you'd like to camp for one or two nights, please complete the camping booking form that can be found on our website (link below) and send it with your payment to the address on the form.

Please note that there will be no entries on the day.
