To complete 53 miles over the Barton Hills and undulating Hertfordshire countryside.

NO REFUNDS after 30th July 2018. Refunds before this date will incur a £2.00 administrative charge.
There will be 7 checkpoints. Participants must leave checkpoints by the closing time of each, or they may be retired at a marshals’ discretion.
If you must retire please do so at a checkpoint and notify a marshal. Call the emergency number if unable to reach a checkpoint. Retirees will be transported to the start/finish venue as soon as possible.
Drinks/biscuits at start. Drinks and snacks at checkpoints. Hot meal at Wheathampstead VH and breakfast at finish.
Route descriptions will be posted on E&H webpage or post 7-10 days in advance of the event. Check your Spam box over this period. No route descriptions will be available on the day.
Equipment You are advised to bring map Landranger 166 or Explorer 182 and 193, compass, appropriate clothing and footwear, torch, batteries/bulb and a personal First Aid kit. Please bring a mug as none will be available on the event.
A certificate will be issued to all those who complete the route in the specified time. The event is part of the Eastern Triple Challenge along with the Shotley Peninsula 50 and Winter Poppyline.
