Welcolme to the 13th Highland Fling Race.
The 2018 race takes place on Saturday 28th April and is a point-to-point trail ultramarathon along the southern 53 miles (85km) of Scotland’s iconic West Highland Way trail through the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park from Milngavie to Tyndrum.
The event is now 13 years old and has grown in popularity throughout the UK and beyond with approx. 25% of runners travelling from outside Scotland. The race is limited to 1000 runners. Places will be allocated by BALLOT.
The 7 Day Entry Window will be open from 9pm Sunday 8th October until 9pm Sunday 15th October 2017. After the window closes, the Fling Team will check that all runners meet the entry criteria (minimum of a road marathon in under 5 hours), following which, the ballot will take place. All successful runners will then be emailed and asked to confirm and pay for the entry. We hope to contact all successful entrants within 2 weeks of the Entry Window closing.
