How far can you go?

The Glenmore 24 is Scotland’s 24 Hour Trail Race. Taking place in Glenmore Forest outside Aviemore, runners must see how many laps of the four mile trail they can complete in 24 hours. There’s also a 12 hour race option available.

This is a perfect event for ultra newbies to those wisened, long in the tooth runners who've seen it all and done it all! Whether you want to come along and see how many miles you can cover in 12 or 24 hours, or whether you have a set distance in mind, this is the event for you.

As with all our events, we believe the Glenmore 24 takes place in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with a stunning backdrop.

There's a space for runners to pitch their tents or campervans in the middle of the start/finish area (called the Hayfield) and then you're on your own! Just you against the course and the clock. Please note that the event takes place in a field, so whilst we provide loos and hot water, there's nowhere for you to plug your microwave or hot tub in to.

Remember that there's no way to fail at this race. Come along with your own target in mind and see how you get on. Each loop is four miles long, so you're never that far from the Hayfield or other runners, so you don't even need to carry anything with you on each lap.
