Ultra Marathon - The final installment of the 2017 AlpinUltras series, UTS is held over a gruelling 75km course with over 5600m overall ascent, taking in some of the most beautiful and challenging ridgelines in Scotland.

Please note Registration for the main Ultra Marathon race requires appropriate prior Ultra Race experience and entries will be vetted to ensure all athletes have this appropriate experience.

Those who have already pre-registred for the Ultra Marathon Race and who have met the vetting criteria will have an entry place reserved and will be invited to register in full. Where appropriate priority will be provided to those competitors running in the overall AlpinUltra’s series (note some limited entry places will be retained in reserve for those who are competing for the overall AlpinUltra series win).

Vertical Race - 'The Goat'. Starting at 3:30pm, its a quick dash to the top of the highest mountain on Arran, the vertical race will be held on the 6th October as the lead in to the main race on the Saturday. The Goatfell vertical is 6.5km long with 875m+. If you're keen why not double up with the 25km race on the Saturday.

25km Race - 'Tarsuinn Trail'.  A classic loop taking in some of the main ridgelines and traverses on Arran. The 25km with 2000m+ will take place during the early afternoon on Saturday and will include some the same technical elements of the main 75km race.
