Registration 6am • Start 8am • Wooler, Northumberland
The Enchanted Ultra is a tough, fully‑GPS‑guided 50K adventure through the remote and dramatic Cheviot Hills. Expect steep climbs, rugged terrain, wild weather and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the North East.
You’ll have 11 hours to complete a route packed with iconic landmarks, ancient hillforts, deep valleys and high summits. This is a serious challenge designed for runners who want a true mountain ultra experience.
Navigation Requirements
This is a self‑navigated event. Participants must follow the route using either:

Their own GPS watch or navigation device, or

Map and compass

Route Overview
Start/Finish at The Cheviot Centre, Wooler → Humbleton Hill → St Cuthbert’s Way → Yeavering Bell → CP1 Hethpool (10 miles) → College Valley → Mounthooley → Hen Hole → Cheviot summit → Harthope Burn → CP2 Langleeford (22 miles) → Coldlaw → Snear Hill → Earl → Switcherback Cottage → Wooler.
