Scottish Orienteering Urban League #6 - Keith
Moravian Orienteers welcomes you to Round #6 of the Scottish Orienteering Urban League in Keith. This event will be on a brand new map and in an area that will be new to orienteering. Keith offers varied terrain including a grid network of roads and lanes in the old town, newer housing estates and industrial complexes including the Strathisla distillery. All areas may be used in the competition.
Seven SOUL courses will be on offer:
- Course 1 - MO, Open Course 1
- Course 2 - MV WO, Open Course 2
- Course 3 - MSV WV Open Course 3
- Course 4 - MUV WSV, Open Course 4
- Course 5 - M/WHV WUV, Open Course 5
- Course 6 - M/W Junior 16-, Open Course 6
- Course 7 - M/W Junior 12-, Open Course 7
The event is open to everyone, but we ask that anyone who is new to orienteering to ensure that they enter a course appropriate for their level of experience, rather than their fitness. Please see the British Orienteering website for more information: What is Orienteering?. Parents following children do not need to enter.
Starts between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm, with courses closing at 2.00 pm.
Online entries until 11:59 pm on Wednesday 19 October 2026 and limited entries on the day, subject to map availability and an additional £1 fee.
