Welcome to the sixth edition of the 5 mile trail run raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Starting and finishing in Epperstone, join your running friends on 5 undulating miles of Nottinghamshire trails. Don't think this is a walk in the park or the countryside. Within the first mile you'll climb a 'mini' hill - something to test the lungs!
We have the usual fantastic prizes up for grabs - again we are not having the standard age group prizes, instead opting for some randomly placed prizes. So if you finish in a position that corresponds to the list, you will receive a prize. Prizes include:
- First male and female - Special prize plus the usual bag of piggie sweets
- Course records, both male (29:47) and female (32:47)
- A crate of beer for the club that attends the event with the most entrants (please ensure you add your running club/group when entering the event - you can update your entry before event day).
- Best combined team prize (comprising fastest 2x female and 2x male times)
- Spot team prize (comprising combined 2x female and 2x male times)
- Running goodies
2027 sees the event located again at The Cross Keys pub.
Entry numbers are set again at a limit of 375 runners. It is hoped the event can once again raise further valuable funds for The Brain Tumour Charity following the first five years of success. We are introducing chip timing in 2027, this will make a difference to our online late entries policy, bib number collection, and results processing and distribution.
