This iconic 8-mile race has been proudly hosted by Lliswerry Runners for four decades. Nicknamed the “flattest race on the planet”, the course takes you on a journey through the peaceful country lanes of Goldcliff and Nash Villages right on the edge of Newport.
Our legendary marshals, bringing big smiles, loud cheers, and endless encouragement, will make sure you feel like a superstar from start to finish..
For some, the Lliswerry 8 is the perfect tune-up race before spring marathon season. For others, it’s a friendly first step into road racing on a course that’s welcoming, flat, and fun. Whether you’re chasing a PB, testing your fitness, or just soaking up the atmosphere, the Lliswerry 8 is for everyone.
