John O'Groats 10K

The John O’ Groats 10K is a scenic, undulating course mainly on quiet country lanes, starting at the newly refurbished John O’ Groats Mill and finishing at the iconic John O’ Groats signpost.  The event has been organised by North Highland Harriers as a fundraising event for the Thurso RNLI.  A minimum of £5 of the race fee goes directly to Thurso RNLI Station.

Registration to collect your number will take place from 11.30am in a retail unit near the main John O'Groats carpark (KW14 4YR).  THERE IS A SEPERATE, DEDICATED EVENT CARPARK (which will be signposted as you approach John O’ Groats and is very close to registration).  The route to Registration from this carpark will be signposted.  There are public toilets available at John O'Groats near the finish.

The race start, at 13.00 from John O'Groats Mill, is short, approximately 800m,  walk from registration and the finish area.

The route follows mostly single-track roads in the around the John O Groats area, with stunning views across to Stroma and the Orkneys. 

As well as trophies and medals, there will also be spot prizes.
