This is the 5th event in the SoSOL series, taking place at Kames, Muirkirk in Ayrshire. The old industrial area was last used in 2016 and offers an open moorland with numerous pits and depressions, offering some tricky orienteering. Cairn Table hill overshadows the area which has some tussocky grass with few paths. East Ayrshire Car Club have kindly given us permission to use their Car Park, cost of which is included in the Entry fee. Nearby Muirkirk Caravan Park will be open for food, to all.
