Midhurst Milers in conjunction with Fernhurst Recreation Ground Trust presents The Blackdown Hill Challenge Junior
Junior races from Fernhurst Recreation Ground. There are two distances for the junior trail races:
- 2km trail race for primary school ages 6-8 and 9-11.
- 5km trail race for secondary school ages 11-15 (must be 11 before 31st August).
Our junior trail races through the foot hills of Blackdown are a 5km with 151 ascent and 2km distances.
School Team Competition
You can also represent your school in the school team competition with a mixed team of six pupils. Primary and secondary school categories. £48 per team. For details please email Sarah Jenkins.

- By car: Fernhurst is 3 miles south of Haslemere on the A286, and 5 miles north of Midhurst.
- The Recreation Ground is adjacent to the Red Lion pub and village green.
- The postcode is GU27 3HY.
The event is licenced by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
