To get a waiting list entry just enter as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. Time: Registration 07:15 – 08:00; Start staggered: walkers 07.30 - 08.00, runners 08.30 – 09.00. Note checkpoint opening / closing times. CP1 08:30 – 10:30; CP2 10:00 – 14:00; CP3 11:00 – 15:30. Retirements at checkpoints only. Walkers arriving at CP3 after 15:30 may be retired from the event and taken back to HQ.
Time limit: 10 hours: all entrants to finish by 18:00

Please note that all entrants must use the (free) car park provided as directed by event marshals – no parking on roads or verges.
Dogs are welcome on short leads but are not allowed in the village halls. Owners must confirm they have pet owner’s liability insurance and the owner is responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Please note the strengthened 2026 livestock protection laws: police now have wider powers, fines for livestock worrying are unlimited, and incidents on public paths are included.
Cancellation policy: 60% refund for cancellations received up to 2 weeks before the event: email organiser. Entrants may transfer their entry to another participant using the SIEntries system.
