*SPUNCH* LEEK HOCKEY CLUB BIG WEEKEND
Start window: 1130am to 230pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. Individual entrants aged 16-25 are invited to use the discretionary young adult discount code Spunch25 when entering if they are on low or zero income. This will provide a 25% discount on the applicable entry fee. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Saturday daytime Spunch from Leek Hockey Club as part of their BIG WEEKEND & Beer Festival. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome.

A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the day if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the day itself).
One of our daylight Springtime events. Mostly in the surrounding countryside but with some more urban options too.
About 30 mins from M6 J15-17. Convenient for Stoke, Newcastle, Audley, Kidsgrove, Alsager, Crewe, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Biddulph, Macclesfield, Buxton, Ashbourne, Uttoxeter, Cheadle & Stone etc.
Catch the Spunch Train: The nearest train stations are in Congleton & Stoke - both about 20 mins cab ride away.
Start at your convenience anytime between 1130am & 230pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 2pm, last start for 120 min course 130pm). Registration open from 1130am.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A first visit to North Leek & the Leek Hockey Club. Lots of route choice and lots of hilly and less hilly options at this one. Good running / walking on a mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road paths*. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Hockey Club will provide a vibrant welcome post-run or walk, with a variety of food & drink options and live music. The venue is child & dog friendly and with great spaces to socialise indoors and outdoors depending on the weather.
