🐰SPUNCH EASTER with CONGLETON HARRIERS
Start window: 430pm to 730pm (Sunset 8pm Dark by 830pm) Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. Individual entrants aged 16-25 are invited to use the discretionary young adult discount code Spunch25 when entering if they are on low or zero income. This will provide a 25% discount on the applicable entry fee. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Wednesday evening Easter Holiday Spunch in Congleton from the Queen's Head, Park Ln, Congleton CW12 3DE. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome.

Easter themed daylight evening event with an extended family-friendly start window - treats for the kids too. Start anytime from 430pm to 730pm. Sunset is at 20:00 and it will be dark from 20:30. Torch and hi-vis clothing required if you are going to be out after 8pm.
A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the night if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the evening itself).
One of our daylight Springtime evening series. Mostly in the surrounding countryside but with some more urban options too.
Less than 20 mins from M6 J16,17, 18. About 30 mins from M56 J6 & M60 J3. Congleton is particularly convenient for the Potteries, Kidsgrove, Alsager, Crewe, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel, Alderley Edge, Macclesfield, Leek and Biddulph etc.
Car parking in the train station car park immediately adjacent (for £3) or for FREE on road / street side all within 5 mins walk from the pub.
Catch the Spunch Train. Congleton train station is immediately adjacent to the pub. It is very well served by trains from Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield and Stoke, and everything in between.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 715pm, last start for 120 min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A return to Congleton & the Queen's Head. Lots of route choice and lots of hilly and less hilly options at this one. Good running / walking on a mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road paths*. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Queen's Head will provide a warm & vibrant welcome post-run or walk, with a variety of food & drink options including their Wednesday Special 1/2 Chicken & Chips with a drink of your choice for £13. The venue is child & dog friendly and if the weather is kind a lovely west-facing outdoor garden.
