A beautiful and scenic ride awaits all entrants to the Wooler Wheel Classic.
An event that has previously been ridden hard and enjoyed much, this route with two options, promises to show off the highs and lows of the beautiful Northumbrian vistas. With one hundred kilometres to travel, or the shorter 60 kilometres, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the views.
The event will depart from the Wooler Auction Mart, kindly allowed by Harrison and Hetherington Auctioneers, it will initially travel south to take in some of the Lilburn Estate, before traveling north to Lowick, Ford, and up to the very border of Scotland along the banks of the river Tweed. Turning for home will see the rider encompass the ancient hills of Yeavering Bell and the Cheviots, before rolling back into Wooler for a wonderful feed of Northumbrian hospitality.
Upon your return to the Wooler Mart you will be greeted with your Wooler Wheel finishers T-shirt and a meal voucher to use at the canteen, for "some of the best food I have ever had at an event". Start time window is from 7:30am to 9am
Registration, the Start line and Finish, as well as food will all be located at the Wooler Auction Mart, with parking details provided in the rider manuals. To allow for final departures at 9am, registration will close at 8:45am.
**This year we would like to encourage young riders to get involved, with an adult paying full price a child under the age of 18 will get to ride for £25. One adult to max 3 under 18 riders.

From the 2025 Wooler Wheel we made a donation of £535 to the wonderful work that the Northumberland Mountain Rescue do.
Our chosen charity this year is the Glendale Gateway Trust foodbank, we hope to be making a donation matching or bigger than last years, which we can't do without all our brilliant riders. There will be a table at the Mart if anyone would like to bring along any (non perishable) items that we can also donate.
