Be part of something special at the very first South Hams Relay — a brand-new 100-mile team relay celebrating the stunning scenery and challenging terrain of South Devon.
Designed by runners, for runners, this inaugural event brings together everything that makes relay racing so memorable: teamwork, camaraderie, strategy, and a shared sense of achievement. Drawing on the organisers’ experience of delivering successful relays in the Midlands and Norfolk, the focus is firmly on a smooth, enjoyable, and runner-centred experience.
The Route
The 100-mile course is split into 16 legs, ranging from 5km to just under 16km, making it accessible yet challenging for a wide range of abilities. Expect scenic countryside, coastal views, rolling roads, and a route that truly showcases the best of the South Hams.

The South Hams Relay is proud to raise funds for two local charities:

South West Coastal Path - Protecting, enhancing and celebrating the Coast Path as one of the world’s great trail experiences.

Can-Active Programme - Supports people through and beyond cancer treatment by helping them rediscover movement, rebuild confidence, and protect mental wellbeing during an incredibly challenging time.
Every penny of profit from the event will be donated to these causes, meaning your miles will make a real difference.
