The Irish Open Sprint Orienteering Championships for 2026 will be part of the HIT THE TOWN festival of orienteering.
This festival will take place in from 21 to 22 March 2026 and will be comprised of three events.
Saturday AM 21st March: Irish Open Sprint Orienteering Championships - University of Limerick
Saturday PM 21st March: Two Person Sprint Relay - University of Limerick (Open fun event with parings drawn together randomly - this is a free event open to any one who completed the Sprint Championships)
Sunday 22nd March: Open Urban Event - Limerick City (Open Event)
In the interests of fair competition for the championships event, the University of Limerick campus is deemed out of bounds between now and21 March 2026.
