Start window: 12pm to 3pm (Now with extended start window) Last start for 120 min course 2pm. Last start for 90 min course 230pm. Everyone finished by 4pm. PLEASE READ THE WEATHER WARNING IN THE FINAL DETAILS AND COME TO THE EVENT EQUIPPED APPROPRIATELY. THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED SO FAR. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. LATE ENTRIES AND ON THE DAY ENTRIES ARE WELCOMED AND WE DO PRINT SPARE MAPS FOR SUCH LATE ENTRIES. IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES MAY CLOSE EARLY IF THE MAPS RUN OUT! Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Sunday afternoon daylight Spunch from the New Inn, 1 Manchester Rd, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak SK23 9SR. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome.
A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the day if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the day itself).

Catch the Spunch Train: Chapel-en-le-Frith Train Station is a 1.2k flat walk from the venue. Direct trains from Manchester (50mins), Stockport (35mins) & Buxton (10mins).

Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.

Come and discover the paths and tracks in and around the delightful market town of Chapel-en-le-Frith - the "Capital of the Peak"! Part tarmac and part trail, we will take you to some of the nicest bits and some green spaces both in and outside the town! A mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to countryside paths* - both hilly and less hilly options. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The New Inn will provide a warm welcome post-run or walk with both indoor and outdoor areas to relax, eat and drink in. With a great selection drinks and food. The venue is child & dog friendly.
