With thanks to Moray Council, please come to our festive fun event at Grant Park and Cluny Hill. Michael has planned two score courses around the idea of Pool (Snooker).
There will be seven 'red' controls and seven 'yellow' controls. Half of the competitors will get a map with the 'red' controls and half of the competitors will get a map with the 'yellow' controls. Collect all the controls on your map (in any order as per a score event) before proceeding to the 'black' control to get a new map of the other colour. The short course will collect one colour and the long course will collect both colours. A full briefing will be given on the day.
There will be a mass start at 12 pm and individual starts after.
Please bring some Christmas offerings to share - mince pies/christmas cake rather than cold turkey!
The event is open to everyone, but we ask that anyone who is new to orienteering to ensure that they enter a course appropriate for their level of experience, rather than their fitness. Please see the British Orienteering website for more information: What is Orienteering?. Parents following children do not need to enter.
