Carsington Hill Race on the evening of Friday 22nd May - part of Carsington Village Festival, organised by Carsington & Hopton CARE in aid of the development of village facilities. Sponsored by Longcliffe.
Registration from 6pm on Friday 22nd May at the pavilion at the School Field, Back Lane, Carsington Village.
Start at 7pm
The route features a downhill finish and a tour of the ancient mined landscape and modern turbines of Carsington Pasture, with views across the Peak District and Carsington Water. It includes steep hills, rough pasture, footpaths, tracks and two road crossings.

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE RACE.
It is 9.5 km/6 miles, with 230m/775ft of ascent. It will be run under FRA rules. FRA Race Licence Number 2026-10116 Minimum age 18.
Entries on the day if numbers allow.
Food, cake and bar available afterwards at the pavilion at the School Field.
