Registration opens at 9:30am and closes at 10:45am, race start is 12 minutes walk. Limited parking at race registration, ample public parking in various town centre car parks, only 5-10 minutes walk to registration.

This is event five in the Dave Parry/Lets Run Winter Fell Race Series 2025/26. The event is subject to a licence issued by the FRA and is held with the benefit of a licence issued by Forestry England.
The Course is located in Guisborough Forest, for the U19/Senior/Veteran categories the fell race consists of three laps of 2.9km, each lap has a steep climb of varying gradient and a technical, sometimes slippery mixed surface descent again of varying gradient, linked by a relatively straightforward flattish forestry stoned track at low and high levels.
Fell shoes with an aggressive soled fell shoe is recommended in most conditions, being held in December the course is typically wet in parts and snow or ice can be present.
Race kit bring the full Fell Runners Association mandatory race kit to the event, kit requirements for the event will be advised by the organiser on the day at registration.
Waterproof top with taped seams and intergrated hood, waterproof trousers, hat (buff accepted), gloves, paper map, physical compass, emergency food, please do not forget to bring along your race number.
The kit that has to be carried for the duration of the race will be advised on race day at registration.
Senior race event entry U19/Senior/Veteran race entry will also be available on race day (£8.00 FRA/£9.00 non-FRA) if you miss the online entry window.
Junior race event entry U9/U11/U13/U15 and U17 is on the day ONLY except for the U19 category with both online and entry on the day available, U19 entrants will complete the full race distance and start with the senior/veteran age categories.

U9/U11 - 1.0km - 11.05am (two short laps)
U13/U15/U17 - 2.9km -11.00am start with U19/senior/veteran categories complete one long lap only
Presentations: Prizes in the Under 19/Senior/Veteran race will be awarded on the basis of 5 year age categories as follows:
Open, Under 19, Under 23, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70, V75, V80 as applicable.
Refreshments will be available post race in the Guisborough Rugby Union Football Club pavilion, the event prize giving will be held as soon as feasible after completion of the races, remaining awards from the Summer Fell Race Series 2025 will also be presented.
