This new route dives straight into the Carneddau, one of Snowdonia’s most dramatic and lesser-trodden mountain ranges. It’s a place that feels ancient, isolated, and absolutely alive with character. You’ll be surrounded by huge rolling ridges, quiet valleys, and that iconic rugged skyline that makes the National Park so addictive. But don’t think it’s all grinding climbs and remote terrain — we’ve blended in hand-picked sections of classic trail-centre riding so you get the best of both worlds: big-mountain adventure with proper flow, features, speed, and grin-inducing descents.

One moment you’re carving through smooth, sculpted berms, the next you’re threading rocky technical lines across open mountainside with views that don’t even look real. We wanted a course that reflects everything Snowdonia offers! To add to the excitement, navigation is needed, but we will provide an accurate GPX to help!

We’ve designed the route to be accessible for committed riders while still giving seasoned mountain bikers something real to chew on. You’ll need decent fitness, a willingness to push yourself, and a good sense of adventure. But if you bring those, we’ll handle the rest. Marshals, signage, safety planning, and support will all be in place so you can focus entirely on the ride and the scenery.
