GATLIFF MARATHON (25km or 50km)
Please join us for this 42nd edition - an annual dose of cross-country exercise! We use footpaths and tracks in lovely parts of Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Become one of the elite who've ticked off this famed "Challenge" Walk/Run.
There's always a really good atmosphere created by fellow participants - and maybe you could gain an entry in our "Gatliff Hall of Fame"! (See results at the bottom of our Gatliff website page.)
The Gatliff Marathon has different routes each year. A route description, including what3word references, and GPX file will be provided to each entrant (these will be available on the Gatliff website before the event). The objective is to complete the distance within ten hours.
All food and drink provided by the Gatliff Marathon organisers is included in the entry fees. Soup and sandwiches will be provided for lunch at one of the checkpoints on the 50km route. Snacks and drinks will be available at all checkpoints. There are five checkpoints on the 50km route, and two on the 25km route. The Gatliff Marathon has professional first aid cover with a specialist outdoor sports events provider.
At the finish, hot food, tea/coffee and showering facilities will be available to all entrants. These are included in the entry fee.
