After a test event in 2025, Aggie 5 Miler is returning in 2026! This is round 7 of the Cornish Grand Prix Running Series.
*Places are limited to 300 entries*
Starting and finishing in St Agnes village centre, the route takes runners around St Agnes Beacon, down to St Agnes Head, before continuing the loop around Beacon Drive to the finish in the village centre.
Registration
This will be from 6.00pm – 7.00pm at the event HQ at St Agnes Sports Club. Pre-entries must collect their race number on the day. Race numbers must not be folded, cut or mutilated in any way.
There is no official baggage storage at the Race HQ. Bags can be left at the club at the owner's risk.
Please note, it is a 1200m walk from the car park/race HQ to the start line. Please allow time for this when heading to the start in time!

Parking will be limited so please car share where possible.
Marshals will be stationed at the sports club car park.

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed however all placings will be awarded using gun to chip time. Timing chips will be worn on the ankle and must be returned at the end of the race.
Changing & Refreshments
Toilets are available at the Race HQ. Food and drink will also be available to purchase at local businesses within the village, such as the St Agnes Hotel and the Railway Inn. Extra toilets are available at the public toilets opposite the Sorting House coffee shop (closer to the race start).
MP3 Players
While this race is not part of the Cornwall Grand Prix series, it will still follow the same rules and guidelines. All MP3 players and personal audio devices are banned whilst running in this race for reasons of health & safety, both yours and other competitors. When you wear such a device you are unable to hear other competitors, cars, bicycles or marshal’s instructions. Marshals will be placed around the route who will be noting any individuals wearing personal audio devices. If you are found to be wearing such a device you will be disqualified from the race. This ruling also disallows the use of bone conducting headphones.
Please also note that dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages and cycles are banned and competitors cannot be accompanied or followed, either on foot or by vehicular conveyance of any description.
