Start window: 5pm to 730pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Festive-themed outfits encouraged but entirely optional! Spot prizes for the best turned-out! Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Monday evening Christmas Spunch from Caldo Lounge, 2A Waterside, Sale, M33 7BS. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome.

A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the night if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the evening itself).

One of our Christmas Lights Spunch Series - We will aim to place a small selection of SpunchPoints at some of the more impressive Christmas Light displays so that you can see the area at it's festive best! Along with discovering the area's urban network and cut throughs, there will also be some more adventurous parts through green corridors, woodland, canalside and other local trails.
Just 5 mins from M60 J7 and 20 mins from M6 J19/20. Especially convenient for Lymm, Irlam, Urmston, Salford, Stretford, Chorlton, Didsbury, Cheadle, Stockport, Gatley, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Altrincham and Hale etc.
Catch the Spunch Tram: The venue is just 300m flat walk from Sale Tram stop. With a fast and regular service from Manchester city centre.
Start at your convenience anytime between 5pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 715pm, last start for 120 min course 645pm). Registration open from 5pm.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A first festive-time Spunch-visit to Sale and Caldo Lounge. Not a hilly one this. Good running / walking on a mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road paths*. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
Caldo Lounge will provide a warm & festive welcome post-run or walk. With a selection of food and drinks available including their "Cheeky Monday Meal Deal" Any main, burger or salad also includes a FREE drink or FREE dessert. The venue is child & dog friendly.
