Welcome to the final counting event of 2025 Moravian local league. This time, we will be orienteering in Newtyle. The area has been newly mapped and offers an excellent location for some quality orienteering in an area rarely used.
Six courses are on offer:
- Yellow: Relatively easy, shorter course. Ideal for novice and younger orienteers.
- Orange: Moderate technical difficulty. Slightly longer course than yellow.
- Red: Moderate technical difficulty, but longer for those wanting to run further.
- Light Green. More technically difficult and suitable for orienteers wishing to develop their skills.
- Green: Technically difficult and suitable for experienced orienteers.
- Blue. Technically difficult and longer course, suitable for experienced orienteers.
The event is open to everyone, but we ask that anyone who is new to orienteering to ensure that they enter a course appropriate for their level of experience, rather than their fitness. Starts between 10:00 am and 11:30 pm, with courses closing at 1 pm.
Online entries until 11:59 pm on Wednesday 19 November and limited entries on the day, subject to map availability and an additional £1 fee.
