Start window: 5pm to 730pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Tuesday evening Christmas Lights Spunch from Torr Vale Tap, Torrvale Rd, New Mills, High Peak SK22 3HS. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome.
A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the night if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the evening itself).
One of our Christmas Lights Spunch Series - We will aim to place a small selection of SpunchPoints at some of the more impressive Christmas Light displays so that you can see the town at it's festive best! Along with discovering the town's urban network and snickets, there will also be some more adventurous off-road parts through park, woodland and other green corridors.
Just 30-35 mins from M60 J1-3, 25-27 and M56 J5. Especially convenient for Stockport, Romiley, Hyde, Marple, Disley, Glossop, Hayfield, Chinley, Chapel, Buxton, Whaley, Bollington, Macclesfield, Poynton & Bramhall etc.
Catch the Spunch Train: The venue is just 300m from New Mills Central Train Station and 1.2k from New Mills Newtown.
Start at your convenience anytime between 5pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 715pm, last start for 120 min course 645pm). Registration open from 5pm.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A return to New Mills, which never fails to disappoint! There will be both very-hilly through to less-hilly options! Good running / walking on a mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road paths*. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Torr Vale Tapp will provide a warm welcome post-run or walk. With a selection of food and drinks available, including some Pie and/or Soup Spunch Specials. The venue is child & dog friendly.
