10k and Fun Run
A scenic off-road 10km starting and finishing on the village playing field in Tipton St John, following public footpaths and rights of way. This run takes in the delights of the Otter Valley and is known for the great atmosphere (and puddles).
Carol Weaver Fun Run
- Start Time: 10:30am
- Course: Approximately 1 mile. The route is off-road but we suggest adults accompany kids under 8 as there are cows in the field.
- Prizes: all finishes receive a custom, locally designed medal and jelly snake (and we promise to have enough jelly snakes)
- Age Limit: all welcome (under 8 accompanied by an adult)
- Entries: through SiEntries or on the day
Rail and River 10km
- Start Time: 11:00am
- Course: The undulating route heads downstream alongside the River Otter, through Harpford woods, along the old Sidmouth railway line, back towards Tipton, through fields out to Fluxton and along tracks to the village.
- Prizes: Bottle of Otter Ale (alcohol and zero alcohol option) to all finishers 18 or older
- Medals: a custom made medal or coaster are available as an optional extra.
- Age Limit: 15+
- Entries: SiEntries only
This event is organised by Tipton St John Playing Field Association in conjunction with Sidmouth Running Club. It is held under ARC rules.
Camping will be permitted on the field over the weekend at a cost of £15 per pitch (camper/caravan) £10 (tent) per night. You can add camping to your entry on check out.
