The Lonesome Pine Trail Run from Running Cicles/Cold Brew Events is Race 5 of the Shadowlands Race Series.
The race has a unique route utilising forest tracks and mountain bike trails all whilst running under the dark skies of northern England. The Lonesome Pine Trail Run centres around the Lonesome/Sky Dive mountain bike trails and combines a decent distance with long, steady climbs and fast mountain bike trails. You'll set off along the relatively flat Lakeside Way where you can pick up some pace before heading into the hills. Once you reach the highest point you dance down the brand new mountain bike trails which pop you out at Kielder village for a quick burst to the finish.
There are a host of prizes to go for on the night and the possibility to go for points towards the overall presentation that will be held at Pedalling Squares cafe on 21st Feb 2026.
