This is a Score event with two courses. A long course and a short course. You visit as many controls points on your map as feasible in the allocated time. There are different scores awarded for different control sites.
It is possible to enter in pairs or trios.
There are two courses. Each course has a mass start where everyone on that course starts at the same time.
The long course starts at 7:00pm and the short course starts at 7:10pm with everyone finishing at or before 7:40pm. There are penalty points for those who are over their allocated time.
The short course is suitable for Juniors and those looking to be out for a shorter time or new to the sport. This is 30 mins.
The long course is for those looking for more challenge. There is an additional challenge on this course in that odd numbered controls must be visited before any even numbered controls. Once you visit an even numbered control any odd numbered controls you visit gain no further points. The course is 40 mins.
Those under 16 wishing to do the long course need to be accompanied by someone over 18 years of age as the course involves a road crossing.
Everyone can gain extra points for visiting a witch or a ghost. We may also give extra points for fancy dress....
