Done 50k & looking for the next step up?
Why not try our 40 mile event - with 5,800ft of elevation it's a good way to work up to the 50 miles
Set off from Wadsworth at 7am so you should be up by the pike by sunrise & if you're lucky you could get some spectacular photos!
4 checkpoints and hot food at HQ means you are well fed on route
2nd two checkpoints are indoors so proper toilets and somewhere to shelter should the weather be against you.

28 hours to complete the 80 miles means you get sunrise & sunset
HQ acts as your 5th checkpoint & soup is available there & hot food at the end
