Included in entry:
Event Hubs - In each of the three event hubs there is tea or coffee and home made cake from 7.30am to get you fueled up. The hub on Saturday is Mytholmroyd Community Centre, on Sunday it is 3 Peaks Cycles Cafe in Settle and on Monday it is Half n Half bar in Sedbergh. After your ride you are welcome to use the facilities at the event hub as an ordinary member of the public. Note: Mytholmroyd Community Centre has the bonus of hot showers which riders are welcome to use whereas the facilities at the two other venues are limited to decent toilets.
GPX file - Field tested gpx files for each event (total nine) will be sent to your email address a week prior to the event.
Route preference - Riders receive the full set of GPX routes so they can decide on the day which route to ride and, if it suits them, swap between routes when out on the trail. There is no need to indicate prior to the event which route you prefer as fitness and goals change.
Routes - On the Calder Skyline event all four routes pass along London Road and so directly below Stoodley Pike whilst on the Ribblehead Skyline event all four routes pass under the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct. On the Howgills Skyline the short mtb (40km) and epic route (105km) go up to the Calf and along Bowderdale whilst the other routes pass to the east of the Howgill fells and head towards Cautley Spout.
Starting line - There is no mass start and no timing of your ride. The start line will be marked by Yorkshire Divide flags at the front of each venue.
Parking - your vehicle can be parked at Mytholmroyd Community Centre for the duration of event 1 from Friday through to the Sunday morning. Parking in Settle on Sunday and Sedbergh on Monday is at the numerous car parks dotted around the towns.
Camper vans - bonus that you can park your van at Mytholmroyd Community Centre on Friday night prior to Calder Skyline and on Saturday night before travelling early Sunday morning up to Settle for the Ribblehead Skyline. Make sure you register your vehicle at the MYCC desk to avoid the parking charges.
Railway - Mytholmroyd is on the train line between Leeds and Manchester and Settle is served by trains but Sedbergh does not have a train station. The nearest station to Sedbergh is Dent which is on the train line from Settle and then a short and pleasant 45 minute ride down from the station and along Dentdale. Its a bit harder on the return because Dent station is one of the highest in the country!!
Badge - All riders receive a Pennine Skyline embroidered cloth badge as well as stickers for each of the three Skylines - Calder, Ribblehead and Howgills.
Accommodation is Not included in your entry ticket:
