The Hustle is the spectacular finale to the short course series, starting from Grinton.
This half marathon race sees you starting with the DR40 runners on a tour of some of our favourite paths in Swaledale. A short road section, takes you from Grinton onto Harkerside Moor. The route takes you past an iron age farmstead before climbing Whitaside Moor . After a long steady descent along the track through Apedale, you will rejoin the DR40 course to climb to the Height of Greets and cross to Grinton Smelt Mill. Enjoy the views from Sharrow Hill before following grassy descents to Cogden Hall and back to the Dales Bike Centre to finish.
The course consists of moorland trods, hard packed tracks and grassy paths.
Each of our race distances are just rough estimates.
Post-race hot soup and a roll, provided by The Dales Bike Centre, will be included in your event entry. Hot drinks and cakes are also available for purchase.
Highlights include:

This year we are offering a finishers neck tube for a small additional fee to help keep the costs of the race down and look after those hard stretched pennies.
