Start at Swythamley and Heaton Centre SK11 0SJ (GR SJ965631)
via Gun Hill, The Roaches, Lud's Church, Gradbach, Three Shires Head, Wildboarclough, Shutlingsloe (30, 23 mile routes only), Cheshire loop (30, 28 mile routes), Danebridge.
Registration:
from 7:15 am
Start:
Flexible start times: 07:30 - 09:00. Note opening times of checkpoints when choosing your start time.
Checkpoint 1 opens 09:15; Checkpoint 2 opens 10:45.
Latest time for starting Cheshire loop: 14:00. Latest time to leave Checkpoint 2: 16:30.
All routes to be completed by 19:15.
Entry fee includes detailed route description (downloadable), refreshments at checkpoints, meal at finish, certificate.
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a short lead throughout the event and are NOT allowed on Shutlingsloe loop (30 and 23 mile routes). No dogs allowed in halls.
Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.
Equipment required: 1:25000 The Peak District White Peak Map OL24, Compass, Whistle, Waterproofs, MUG.
Retirements to be made only at checkpoints. Transport will be provided back to Swythamley.
