*SPUNCH* NANTWICH HALLOWEEN SPECIAL
Start window: 430pm to 730pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Entry fee includes small Halloween treats for kids (and adults too!) Halloween-themed outfits encouraged but optional! Spot prizes for the best turned-out. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Friday evening all-in-the-dark Spooky Spunch Special from the Vine Inn, 42 Hospital St, Nantwich, Cheshire CW5 5RP. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals, newcomers, vampires, zombies & werewolves all equally welcome.
What better way to kick-off our all-in-the-dark night Spunch Season than with a Friday-nighter special in Nantwich? Expect the unexpected, with treats for the kids (and the adults), spookily located SpunchPoints and all in the historic town of Nantwich. Halloween-themed outfits encouraged but optional! Spot prizes for the best turned-out.
Come early with the kids or bring your running / walking mates and make a night of it in Nantwich - the town is likely to be alive & colourful with action on a Halloween Friday.
A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the night if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the evening itself).
The first of our all-in-the-dark, completely nocturnal, midweek-night Spunch Series after the clocks change. (Hi vis clothing & torch necessary required for all at this one)
Sunset @ 16:40. Dark from about 17:15
15 mins from M6 J16. 25 mins from M6 J15 & J17. Especially convenient for Crewe, Winsford, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Audley, Newcastle, Keele, Loggerheads, Market Drayton, Audlem, Whitchurch, Malpas & Tarporley etc.
Catch the Spunch Train: Nantwich Train Station (On the Crewe - Whitchurch - Shrewsbury line) is a 5 minute flat 400m walk from the venue.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 715pm, last start for 120 min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
We are back to the Vine for our second Halloween Special. Same venue but an adjusted area and a selection of all new Spooky SpunchPoints. A very flattish area, the town enjoys a great a network of paths in the town centre, the riverside, lakeside & canalside parkland and with some magical snicketry in between through attractive residential areas.
Good running / walking on mostly good underfoot conditions*. There will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Vine Inn will provide a warm welcome post-run or walk, with both indoor and outdoor areas to relax, eat and drink in. With hearty pies & extras available from their PIE MENU including pie n pint for £11.95. Full selection of drinks from the bar. The venue is child & dog friendly.
