Start window: 11:30am to 1:30pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

60, 90 or 120 minute score course options (you can choose on the day itself).
Just 15 mins from M6 J15, 25 mins from M6 J16. Especially convenient for Stoke, Newcastle, Leek, Cheddleton, Ashbourne, Cheadle, Uttoxeter, Stone, Keele & Madeley etc. Free and convenient parking.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals always very welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 1130am & 130pm. (Last start for 120 min course 1pm). Registration open from 1130am.
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Our first visit to the Bolton Gate Cafe which is on the doorstep of some great countryside, including Park Hall Country Park, and a rich network of paths and trails. An ideal introduction to Spunch events for local runners / walkers and their friends and families, as well as being a great area worth travelling to for experienced Spunchers from further afield.
60/90/120 minute hilly (and less hilly) score course options using a rich network of public rights of way, concessionary paths and open access land. Navigating with an enlarged and enhanced specially prepared map.
A Sunday afternoon adventure in and around Park Hall. Starting and finishing at the highly rated Bolton Gate Cafe with food and drink available after your outing.
With over 70 Spunchpoints (checkpoints) spread out over an area of about 6 sq km there will be plenty of options to keep you interested and challenged. There will be options to do more or less climbing and opportunities for fast running (or walking) on some great local trails*.
After your outing - as well as the refreshments - there will be opportunities to compare routes and share success stories back at the cafe. The venue is child & dog friendly.
Catch the Spunch Train: Stoke-on-Trent Train Station is a 15 min Uber ride from the venue.
