Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter

This is our 7th event out of a total of 9 in our 4th Lakeland Paws series. It's my personal favourite as it is a lovely runnable route, with no technical ground and with wide trails, it is however, still a bit 'lumpy'. It's a great route to run with two dogs.
We are pleased to offer two distances, one slightly easier than the other, but both mainly covering the same ground. Our shorter option is around 9k and has 380m of ascent. Our longer option is 12K, and has 500m of ascent. Both routes are all on wide forest tracks and in quieter, less well known, parts of the forest as it contours around Whinlatter Top - a perfect Wainwright to bag in the afternoon! Dogs must be run on a suitable harness and we have kit available to borrow provided by Non-Stop Dog Wear if needed. Runners are welcome to compete without dogs too.
