Our 4th season is now well underway and this is our 2nd event at Grizedale Forest this season. We have a 10k or a 6k on offer and it's our most runnable event, with less ascent and easier running than some of our other events.
The route is all on wide forest paths so we are happy to allow two dogs per runner on this course. All dogs must be run on a suitable harness and runners are welcome to compete without dogs too.
There are two course options. The longer option is a 10K loop with 260m of ascent. There is a shorter option, which avoids some of the ascent is 6K with 150m of vert. This is recommended for beginners or those seeking a shorter route for their dogs.
The event is chip timed and will be marked. GPX files are available to download too.
