Welcome to Lakeland Paws season 4! We are starting 2026 @ Whinlatter Forest, with our 4th event in the season. Each event follows the same format and starting at 9am with individual starts for each athlete so that all dogs have the space they need to start safely. The courses are a mix of forest roads and trails. This route is all based on the south side of the forest, it's less technical than our Seat How route and so two dogs are allowed. Runners are welcome to compete without dogs too.
There are two course options. The longer option is a 10k route with 400m of ascent. There is a shorter option, which splits from the longer route and is 5K and has 200m of ascent. This is recommended for beginners or those seeking an easier route.
The event is chip timed and will be marked. GPX files are available to download too.
