*SPUNCH* DIDSBURY with DIDSBURY RUNNERS
Start window: 430pm to 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied juniors who go for FREE with a paying adult > 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Tuesday evening Town & Trail Summer Spunch in and around the superb suburb of Didsbury from Didsbury Sports Ground Sports Bar & Cafe and in collaboration with local running club Didsbury Runners
From the excellent Didsbury Sports Ground Clubhouse, Ford Lane, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2RU.
Another doorstep adventure, this time discovering desirable Didsbury. A mixed-terrain Spunch, the event centre is ideally placed to explore the adjacent green spaces of Fletcher Moss Park, Millgate Fields and the Mersey Valley Trails. Further afield you might venture towards Marie Louise Gardens or Didsbury Park & Fog Lane Park - all connected by some fast moving urban action in between. Not a hilly one this, and with good underfoot conditions* you can expect to be moving fast from start to finish. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
With an extended 430pm to 730pm start window, treats for the kids, a post-Spunch barbecue and route options suitable for kids of all ages, this will be a good one to kick off the school holidays and get the whole family out n about!
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the evening itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the venue. A daylight early evening Spunch event for runners & walkers. Very family friendly & dog friendly too.
The venue is just 10 mins from M60 J3-5 and M56 J1-3 convenient for anywhere with easy access to the M60 Manchester Outer Ring and the M56. Especially handy for Sale, Timperley, Altrincham, Carrington, Irlam, Urmston, Eccles, Salford, Trafford, Stretford, City Centre, Chorlton, Didsbury, Stockport, Cheadle, Gatley, Wythenshwe etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals especially welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Go solo, pair or team. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
The Didsbury Sports Ground Sports Bar & Cafe will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. The barbecue may well be fired-up if the weather behaves! The clubhouse is child and dog friendly. And it has a good outdoor eating / drinking area too if the weather is kind.

Parking is available either at the venue or on nearby streets all within 5 mins walk from the clubhouse.
Come by Uber or Catch the Spunch Tram / Bus / Train. The Didsbury Sports Ground is just a 25 minute Uber ride from Manchester City Centre. Alternatively there are several good public transport options: Didsbury Village Tram Stop is just 1k flat walk from the venue. There is a direct bus (#42) from the city centre to the Didsbury pub which is a short 500m walk from the venue. East Didsbury Train Station is also just 1.5k walk from the venue. All meaning that the venue is easy to get to from Manchester city centre and elsewhere.
Bikes can be locked outside the venue at your own risk.
