*SPUNCH* LYMM 1-2-3 @ LYMM FESTIVAL
Start window: 12pm to 2pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

We are delighted to be staging a Saturday afternoon Village & Countryside Spunch 1-2-3 as part of the Lymm Festival From the Maple Lodge Scout and Guide Centre, May Queen Field Drive, Lymm, WA13 0JG. (In collaboration with the local running club Lymm Runners lymmrunners.org.uk and the local Scouts / Explorers who will be running a fund-raising Tea and Cake stall providing refreshments for hungry Spunchers after their run / walk).
1 hour, 2 hour and 3 hour score course options (choose on the day itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Maple Lodge Centre. Daytime mid-summer Spunch for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
Just 5 mins from M6 J20/20A & M56 J9. Lymm is particularly convenient for Warrington, Partington, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Knutsford & Northwich etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 3k to 33k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals especially welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 12pm & 2pm. (Last start for 3 hour course is 130pm).
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore some of the village's quiet and quaint streets and get a taste of some of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Not a hilly one this, but still lots to explore and enjoy. As well as navigating your way through the village, you might also enjoy sections of the Bridgewater Canal, the Transpennine & Mersey Valley Trails, Lymm Dam, Bradley Brook & Spud Wood. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Maple Lodge Centre will provide a warm welcome with Food & Drink available after your run / walk from the charity tea & cake stall.
With over 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Parking at or nearby the centre on street / road sides or in the Council run village car parks all within 5-10 mins walk from the venue.
Catch the Spunch Train. The Warrington train stations are a 15 min cab ride away. These stations are very well served by trains from Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe & Preston, and everything in between.
Lots of other family, arts, sports & music events going on in the village throughout the Festival - come and make a full day of it.
